Westbrook gunning for Le Mans victory
12/05/2010Current FIA GT2 Champion Richard Westbrook has confirmed he will join BMS Scuderia Italia for the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race on 12 – 13 June 2010.
Westbrook will partner Audi DTM Champion Timo Scheider and Porsche Junior Marco Holzer in the Michelin shod Porsche 911 RSR.
“I am really looking forward to making my Le Mans debut with BMS,” said Westbrook who is currently competing the Le Mans Series with Prospeed Competition. “They have a great record at Le Mans, and together with Timo and Marco I think we stand a great chance of winning the biggest sports car race of the year.”
