Richard Westbrook finished third on his FIA GT1 World Championship debut at Spa Francorchamps on Sunday.
Westbrook started the Ford GT1 Matech Competition No 5 car in 6th position and after losing 3 positions in the first corner whilst trying to avoid contact at La Source, he proceeded to put in a stunning performance to bring the car into second place before the pit stops - despite having never driven a GT1 car prior to the weekend. read more

Richard Westbrook is to make his FIA GT1 World Championship debut in one of the Matech Ford GT1 cars at Spa Francorchamps this weekend, following a re-shuffle of their drivers for the rest of the season.

Current FIA GT2 Champion Richard Westbrook has confirmed he will join BMS Scuderia Italia for the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race on 12 – 13 June 2010.
Westbrook will partner Audi DTM Champion Timo Scheider and Porsche Junior Marco Holzer in the Michelin shod Porsche 911 RSR.
“I am really looking forward to making my Le Mans debut with BMS,” said Westbrook who is currently competing the Le Mans Series with Prospeed Competition. read more
